Hi from up the Canadian west coast, Hope you all (southern term i think) can teach an old dog some new tricks when it comes to building my first harley. I am in the prosess of triking an 84 FLHT,useing a revtec 110, 6 speed ultma in a delcron box, scorpion clutch, and DNA chain drive rear end. As i live so far in the woods i have to go out to hunt, its hard to get any help or suggestions from those in the know, like (where can i find a 3/4" in. LEFT handed nut for the clutch end of the main shaft) Building this thing from scratch so any help greatly appreciated.
Respects dry doc
Hi Dry Doc, can't help you with your left handed bolt ... but maybe ebay can be of help or custom chrome ...
Just post in the regular forums, and somebody will probably know the answers to your question.
In the mean time, congrats on your courage to take this on! I love the older bikes but have to question my own capabilities on the mechanical level, that's why I got the x-bones, instant vintage bike with modern engine and electrics.
Welcome and hope you find the help you need!
Post some pics!
Success!!!
