i've had a UK license for 16 years but don't know the best place to get insurance for my new 1200 sportster here in the US with a full license, can anyone help?
suggest you call the insurance co and get quotes, everyone will be different is coverage and cost, mine is with GMAC insurance, you can look at chat and see posting about insurance and everyone has different company's have fun
You just need to call around and get quotes. Some companies are good in one region but not in others so it really doesn't help for everyone to rattle off where they are insured. Call an independant agent who has access to several companies and have them do some comparative quotes. Good luck!
You are really better off contacting an agent in Florida. We have a tough time writing in Florida. Just look in the yellow pages and find someone who has the independant agent logo in their add.
