Default Hello all!

I'm the new guy, and though i worked at a dealership as a tech...I will start off with a question. (i hate wiring) My stator wires wore through (both of em!) on the edge of my regulator. i made it home on battery juice...battery's junk now...and proceeded to perform the wire repair. That's when i second-guessed myself on which stator wire went to which regulator wire (since they broke/frayed pretty evenly. The question is... short of replacing the stator altogether (it's on order) i have a 50/50 chance of success? or does the wiring not matter (with fingers crossed)
