My wife and I live in Maine, and we do a fair amount of riding together, (two up) on my 03 Ultra Classic. This is my third bike, and by far the most comfortable for her and me.
I ride to work daily, 32 miles one way. My wife and I ride around New England often, and have made two trips out to Ohio on the Ultra in the past two years. We enjoy our rides together, but the riding season is closing fast. It snowed a couple of inches this morning, so the time to put my bike away is soon approaching. Ill be putting it in the garage and going over it during the winter. At least I managed to put over 14,000 miles on my bike this season.
I try to do all my own work. Last winter I changer to Andrews 21G cams, added 07 heads, 08 exhaust from a Road Glide, ThunderMax EFI with auto tune, added a 10 row Jgg oil cooler, Screaming Eagle adjustable push rods, then finally mounted Dunlop E3 tires. I was aiming for reliability not HP.
This winter, I plan on going to progressive front suspension, and either rebuilding my front master cylinder, or replacing it, then finally going to stainless braided brake lines.
Ill get a picture of my bike up shortly, back to reading more posts.
