Hey all
First time on the forum, just wanted to say hey! I am new to all of this, dont even have a bike yet, hope to have my first Harley soon!!!
I do not know much about bikes so I figured what better place to learn then from the people "in the know"! Hope to learn a lot from being here.
Thanks all
Thanks for all the "welcomes" I appreciate it. For financial reasons I definately will not be buying new. I actually dont want a new bike to start on anyway. I need a "comfortable" bike as my back isnt in the best shape ever and I do not want to get a smaller bike, any suggestions for a used bike? I would also be interested in your opinions as to what is considered "too many" miles being that I have limited knowledge on working on a bike?

You obviously want a Harley. I think the big thing about them is you look for a bargain, say a sporty, if you want more bike later on the resale value is there.Take a course, most supply bikes to ride. its the best money you'll spend and decreases insurance maybe increases life span.
As far as mileage, I think a good maintenance history on a bike means more than lower miles, you see them 100+k working fine so shop carefully
good luck
