Hello all from South Carolina! I have ridden a 92 FLSTF for the last 14 years of an ongoing 36-year love affair with the two-wheeled experience. The Fat Boy has been a great bike, but I am yearning to make a few long (5,000+ miles) motorcycling vacations and will probably end up buying an Ultra sometime in the near future. In fact, I joined the forum to see what the touring folks have to say about the various models.
Hey Jim!!
Looks like you're from my neck of the woods. I live in Laurens, SC. I bought a 2003 Fatboy about a month ago and I love it!! I'm not planning on the long trips that you are so I'll be pretty content with the Fatboy. This is a really great forum, people are friendly and very helpful. Come on over to the softail forum and look around when you get a chance. Welcom to the boards, hope to see ya around!
