New guy here, 2003 FLHTCUI anniversary ...
Have never organized a ride, but would like to talk with someone about organizing a ride for the benefit of the Prostate Cancer Foundation. Lost my dad to this dreaded disease, I am a survivor (5 years) and have a younger brother that is a survivor.
I have been active in fundraising and a member of our local "US Too" chapter as an EC memeber.
Any help would be appreciated..
Hey gbrownie ---- In this "new member" section, it has always looked like there are a few people who have auto replies for new members. That's why alot of these replies say only "welcome aboard", or something like that. I've never organized a ride either, but I see flyers posted alot --- from all the motorcycle dealers (Honda, Yamaha, Harley -- doesn't matter) to grocery stores, convenience stores, etc. You could probably put one up at that Sheetz over on (what is it? Mannheim Pike?) or any of the other Sheetz stores down there. There's a pretty good-sized Yamaha dealer on 283 heading toward Harrisburg. Go to that Harley dealer down on 222. Hey, go over to Hannum's on Rt 1, over near Chadd's Ford & Glen Mills --- stuff like that. Make a flyer with a date & details, and hang it up at every business that'll let you hang it up. Go to Park City mall too. Go over to the Harley dealer on 30, over in York --- everything you can think of. From what I've seen in the past. put so many of 'em up that you can't help but see a few of them, at different stops that you make every day. Good Luck.
