Default 1st rider - 1st time Harley owner in NYC

Hi Everyone! 42 and have always wanted to ride. So why not now! Spent my time so far riding in NYC. Can't wait to get out on the open road, these cabbies are C-R-A-Z-Y!

welcome to HDF from another NY City rider.

What bike did you get?
Would be more than happy to lead you in any direction of the compass for a day ride on some scenic, and much tamer roads.

let me know.

Welcome!! While I've never riden in NYC, I have to confess that even as an experienced rider the traffic & chaos in the city would likely make me reconsider riding. I live outside Boston and generally avoid riding into the city......I like the open roads (and relative safety) of the "burbs". I fully respect your choice and wish you nothing but safe travels!!
