What most really mean when they say that is I don't have enough money to buy what I really want...so I'll buy a smaller one. Then sell it next month with I feel comfortably on one, by then U could loose a bunch of $$ trying to sell it or trade it in and lose big $$$$..
just go easy and slow at first and get what U want the first time.
IF not at least buy a old cheap non harley to learn on then maybe U won't loose so much.
