Default Hello From Maryland

Hello there. I am planning on picking up a new ride, so I joined. I grew up on sport bikes and racing at the track... But, I am a bit older now... And, I have two darling children that I want to see have kids of their own.

Recently I have been thinking about getting back on two wheels. The obvious choice for me is a Harley Davidson. I am currently looking at three different bikes:

1. Fat Boy Lo
2. Dyna Fat Bob
3. Rocker C

They are completely different bikes and have some clear pros and cons.

Because I am planning on this being a daily commuter and riding ~90 miles roundtrip each day, I am leaning toward the Fat Boy or Fat Bob. Also, my wifey likes to ride on back from time-to-time and the RC passenger seat is less than forgiving.

Anyway, I think I've already typed past my obligatory limit...

Cheers,
Rip

Go with a Street Glide. It captures both the sport and touring advantages...Welcome from Nawlins!!!

lots of members have bought for looks only and ended up having to blow $$$$ to make it fit there needs or buying another one shortly to work.

IMO a Rock looks really cool, but as U say I wouldn't think its for long rides two up in comfort.
between the other two. its personal taste.

Welcome to the Forum and safe riding.
