I have a few questions. I'm going to get a Forty-Eight (I know it has a small tank and a lot of people don't like.) Anyway... I'm thinking about getting the SE Stage 1 and the SE street performance slash down mufflers. I was wondering what else I would need to do? a re-map? I'm looking for some volume. I want to stick with the basic look of the bike because I like it but I want to make it a bit louder. I've heard from many people that I need to get a tuner...is that true or would a fuel re-map do fine? Has anyone heard the mufflers I'm talking about?
Also, can anyone give me a rough estimate on how much the installation/re-map will cost? I'm looking at 300 for the mufflers and 140 for the stage one.
OK, one last thing. What's the difference between the 2010 an the 2011?
Sorry man... I'm not able to answer your questions... you would most likely get your answers from a post on the Sporty specific forums... most of us here are strictly the welcoming group.
