Hello all I just bought a 2008 883L with 250miles!! From what I can tell on the this forum and other forums is that a lot of people want to put on forward controls. Well, I am not one of those people. I actually already have the forward controls installed! The problem I am facing is that no one sells the standard control part/kit only the forward control kit! On top of that there are only instructions on how to install forward controls!
I was hoping someone could help me or maybe someone had installed forward controls and are wanting to sell there standard controls.
Let me know i am new to this forum business so bare with me!
I would think that if you stick with the forward controls you would never want to use standard controls again. Forward controls take a little time to get used to but once you're used to them you never will want to go back. Forgot to say welcome aboard, I'm sure there more then one person that still have the standard controls that would sell them to you.
Thanks for the welcomes as I stated I don't mess around on the forums at all! Where would I put the info for that I am looking for standard controls? Also how much should I ask? I feel like pretty cheap since most people just get rid of them
Also another reason I want em is because I don't have! I kindof want to have the both just so that I cam do whatever! But I allready agree the forward controls rock! I do a lot of city riding to and from work so I want to try the standard controls to get that zippy feel, or see if I want to stick to the forwards.
