Default I just bought a Harley - OMG what have I done??????????

I am so excited - I just bought a 2006 Sportster today - I can't believe I got that brave. It was by the side of the road and I had already tested one and I lost my mind!!
It is 883R with custom paint job, Screaming Eagle carb kit?, Rinehart 2 into 2's, custom gel seat, larger tank.
I also got a great big box with windshield, luggage rack, luggage, old stock tank, and stuff i can't even identify.

I have just outgrown my Savage and this seemed like a good idea at the time. here lies the rub......I am only 5'1" and I like to flatfoot so...off to the mechanic it went today to have lower shocks put on and...did I mention the colossal 'ape hanger' bars that are being replaced as we type. I guess that I have to put new shorter cables on so I will probably sell the long ones with the bars.

I am only 125lbs, so I don't think I will have any trouble with 11" shocks.
I am in WA so we all have webbed feet here.

Hello "morghaine",
This sounds very familiar, if you call Port Townsend home, and just in time for the "Oyster Run".
Congrats,
Art

Definitely an upgrade from your former bike - Congrats! Take 'er easy on the throttle until you get used to the new ride & another option, if the lower shocks aren't enough, is to have your seat customized, or swapped.
