As a newbie to the site, I thought I would take a minute and introduce myself and my ride. I rode imports off and on for years. In 2001 I bought my first Harley. It was a brand new 2001 Harley Sportster. After spending lots of time and money customizing, I finally found a sweet deal on a Duece and I took the plunge. I have always wanted a Duece, but, needed to save some money for that kind of purchase. So I bought and paid off the Sporty and I have been looking for about a year for the softail of my dreams.
I finally found a great deal and got a 2003 Anniv. edition Softail Duece with only 2700 miles on it. The bike is flawless and I got it for $14,400. So I think I did pretty dam good! And yes,.....I bought it off eBay...lol. I drove from Oklahoma to Missouri to pick it up a couple off weeks ago and I couldn't be happier.
Anyway.....I have been lurking on this site and I must say that there is lots of knowledge here! I also love the insight I have gained from this place. Especially the 20% off deal from Surdyke H.D. I just placed my first order with them yesterday. So its time to begin customizing all over again. I will try to post some pictures if anyone is interested.
