After riding for 30 of my 36 years on Japanese motorcycles I bought my first Harley Davidson last night. It's a 2007 Low Rider and I am very excited about owning it. I've been out of the saddle for about 3 years, but decided to get back on the road in a big way.
I was always one of those guys who wanted a hog but couldn't justify the additional expense. This time it was a no brainer, though.
I've been lurking around this forum for months.
I think i've been sufficiently warned about the 1% guys, patches and fingerless gloves. I saw the thread about assless chaps but haven't yet explored it... not my thing.
anyway, i'd love any insight into my 07 lowrider.
i picked it up from a used dealer with 10K on it.
Put new tires on it today and plan to change all the fluids and consumables.
You might try posting in the Dyna section, or check around the Tech forums. Welcome to the forum and hello from Mississippi! Congratulations on the new bike.
Congrats on the new ride and welcome from NE Oregon! There is a Low Rider in our stable also....you will enjoy that bike. I would probably want to know if there were any performance upgrades on the bike...Stage I upgrade comes to mind (mufflers, air filter, and ECM download). Otherwise, I agree with those that have recommended a visit to the Dyna and tech forums!!
