Hello all,
New member and new Sportster owner. I just bought my first Harley after riding bikes for 15 years. I have owned a '95 Kawasaki Vulcan en500 as my first bike and a '05 Yamaha R6 as my first crotch rocket. Went fast on the R6, maybe a little too fast for a Husband and Father of 2. Just sold my F150 due to ever rising gas cost and the fact that my wife said I could get another bike if I sold the truck. Decided on a Harley because I wanted to slow down. Wanted a cruiser but wanted the real thing so I chose Harley. I purchased a 2007 XL1200L or 1200 Sportster Low. Since I sold my truck the Sportster is my daily driver/rider. I am not a hard core biker by any means. I like to ride motorcycles and have always wanted a Harley but costs have always detered me. Bought the Sportster out right and I am really happy with the bike. Would like to get into group rides here in St Augustine. If you see a Yellow Pearl Sportster with little black saddlebags on the roads around St Augustine that's me
