Dealers try to screw you every way you turn. Find you a good used bike, that way you're screwing them. Welcome to the forum, by the way.
Welcome to the forum from Arizona. The price seems to magically go up when you begin negotiations. It seems to depend on the region in which you live on how much wiggle room the dealers are willing to concede. There probably are not too many dealers in Montana, so they can and will play hard ball.
motorcycles arrive in pieces in a crate, the set up fee covers them putting it togeather, changing the oil, charging batt, and fuel/firing it up..that is supposed to be included in the price but even bicycle shops hit you up for this..$1000 sounds excesive..the document fee covers them driving to a title agency and filing for a title, then mailing it to you, still excesive ..buy used and skip all that,or add it to the financing
