Need some advice please, thanks
A friend of our suggested we contact the Harley People. We are a group of volunteers who are working with the 911 Families, and the New York City Fire Department to once again provide toys for the kids who lost everything in Mississippi due to Hurricane Katrina last year. These wonderful people were able to provide toys for over 8000 kids last year, and the list this year seems to keep growing. We are located in Pensacola Beach, Florida and know what hurricanes are all about. I guess what we are asking....Would some of the local clubs along the coast be able to help out with a "ride" to bring toys to a drop-off site for this toy drive? We can set up a site anywhere from Pensacola to Mississippi, at any time, and any place. Anyone wishing to donate anything can also send this to the NY people, the Panhandle Coordinator, etc. Any thoughts, ideas would be really appreciated. The toy caravan from New York is due to arrive in Mississippi the first week of December. Anything that can be set-up between now and then can and will happen. Thanks for your time, Bart.
