After enjoying the first mid 80's day of spring, I looked for some forums this evening. Glad I made it here. What a great day for riding.
I made the HD move in 97. Bought a pretty basic 883 and loved it after putting a real seat on it. I'm short and they just fit me well.
I also had a 97 1200 Sporter with the adjustable sport suspension.
Hated it. Actual had to see the chiropractor if I road it all day.
Had to quit riding until last year. I wanted to move up but after trying a 2007 XL 1200 C I bought it. The new larger wheels and full fuel tank made a huge difference. I also used a windshield and loved it.
I'm ready to move up to a full size bike after I get a barn built. I need more room.
Fellow NC resident here. Had to work all day and was on call so.....
I got to see a whole bunch of other people riding bikes and enjoying the weather. I can only hope next weekend when I am off will be nice enough to enjoy.
