Howdy back at you from Washington. Hearing your dialect would be OK, but trying to read it is a little tough. Enjoy the forum! [sm=americanasmiley.gif]
Howdy from the Yankee End of Texas, 35 miles north or Dallas, You go get that new scoot!!! I had some surgery and fell out of the saddle for 20 years while doing the child raising thing. Earlier this year I grabbed me an 06 Electra Glide Custom Classic. I gotta tell ya I had forgotten how much I loved ridin!! Only place the world makes sense is when I am rollin on down the road!! Well actually the world still don't make sense. It just seems that I don't much tend to notice the dumb sclitt when I fire that V-T up. Only one thing to say, Ya gotta go with the HD when ya buy. No matter what all the others have out their, start that V-Twin and your addrenaline starts flowing. Feel low center of gravity and that extra little tingle that the V-Twin vibration triggers (no not that tingle, I mean the tingle of pride that you can get from you and the scoot being in tune with each other. All of the other manufacturers can build a long lasting machine that either wants to look link a HD or is just so damned booring that ya may as well be in a wheel chair doing circles in the living room. Hey, no matter what anyone says about quality and all the nit picking about noises, The one thing you know you will have when you ride the "Big HAWG" is a scoot with character, it's own damned sense of humor, PO'd at all the wrong times, and last but the biggy is some of the best experiences and memories you will ever have the honor to be a part of. As I said earlier "I had forgotten the feeling and love of rollin on a Harley Davidson". So I shall repeat myself, If you want the truely full experience of riding a motorcyle, there is only one choice. The pretenders can build a machine....They cannot supply the history, people, adventures, and pride.. that you will get from your new HD. Now it is just a matter of which on. My wife likes to ride so I grabbed me a 06 Electra Glide Custome Classic. It has everything on it including a toilet paper roll holder. The best part is it loves the road. Don't have to ride it, the harder you go the happier it gets. All ya gotta do is roll on the wife can do a bar dance on the back seat and you won't even know it until you see all the big riggs lining up and tossing dollar bills at ya.
Just in case I left any doubt on how I feel about it,
"If Ya Gonna Ride.....Ride with Pride"
"If Ya Gonna Ride with Pride.... Ya got several options but only one choice"
"Don't wait for no damned Demo....Git Er Done"
"You may cuse yourself from time to time... But down the road when you replay the years....you will never regret buying the only true motorcycle available in America"
Next time I see you.... Be sure... I will notice that that smile is the real deal... "Keep on Rollin ond Ride Each Day Like It Is the Last!!!
