I realize I have to make this decision myself, but I just wanted some opinions.
Like a lot of people I was in the military, got out, got married. Bought a house, car payments, divorce. Child support, laid off from a few jobs along the way. Married again, bought another house. Finally financially stable.
I have wanted a HD all my adult life, but it was just something that I couldn't afford. Now after working 45 years I am retired, 64 years old and I can finally afford to walk in the door and just buy one. However having never ridden I don't know if it is to late to start. There is an MSF class close that I will take. I think after taking that I should know if I want to continue on or just forget the entire thing. If I get something I want a new bagger.
Anybody else start riding later in life?
Opinions, suggestions?
Hi Dan,
Go for it man, your never too old, the bike I just bought was from a guy who was 70 and was looking to replace it with another bike. Taking a class will help I'm sure.
