2011 tri-glide
Just returned from 2 years in the "sand box" (Afghanistan) DOD contractor. Had the "trike" as a screen saver since 2009. Upon return home last Sept 2010 while visiting the grandkids, Orange Park Fla, Adamec H/D had one on the floor ready to go. 50% $$ down and she's mine. Took girlfriend out to Ocracoke Island last Thursday for a romantic getaway and ran into rain for 4 hours. Next morning, beautiful clear day on the Outer banks, started her up and DAMN (just DAMN) reverse quits and the cd/radio worked intermittently. Also noticed while at high speeds, 65+, shifting between 5th and 6th wouldn't cooperate. Whiskey Tango Foxtrot!!! Taking this POS into the local dealership this morning, states it will take about a week before I get her back. With less than 2300 miles I'm very disappointed . Googleing all this and I see I'm not alone. Any advice out there??Heading to Nova Scotia next month, hopefully, now I'm not so sure.
