Default New Guy Question
Greetings to the freshman class of HD. I bought my first HD - a 2011 XR1200x. Haven't riden it much. It's my 5th though...
Whats the safest lane to drive in on the freeway? I hear not the right lane...
Well, hope your day is warm and sunny. Mine isn't.

Agree with above, and always pay particular attention to movement the front wheels of the cars you're passing, or riding next to. Love XR1200's.

Greetings and welcome from NE. For freeway riding - I don't see why the Right lane is bad...just gotta watch for vehicles entering/exiting. Other than that - it's pretty much the same as if you were in cage. Lefy lane should be used for overtaking other/slower vehicles...

Welcome from Melbourne Australia. The right lane here is the fast lane. I just rode across the US last month and I was the only one driving on the correct side of the road.
