Been riding for many years mostly sport touring, wife had back surgery and needed something more comfortable so we pulled the trigger on a 2011 Ultra Classic Limited. Would love to know what all those letters really stand for FLHTK???

Google the Harley alphabet. It will give you some links to fish thru and see what you can find. Here is one of them links that kind of explains it a little bit.

Its all Greek at first, but give it some time and you will understand the first couple letters really tell you what family bike it is. X for Sportster, FXD for Dyna's, FX or FLST for softails, and FL for touring bikes.
