Default About me...
Just registered and soon to be a Harley Owner.

I am from SC and looking for my first Harley.

My last bike was 6 years ago and it was a CBR600, now I am 26 and married,wife would like something that is comfortable for her to ride on too.

I have looked at a few Electra Glides, 2001-2007, upto 18K, hoping to spend no more than 13K

I have looked at a few other models also, but I have fallen in love with the Electra Glide.

Is there anything I should know/watch out for while looking at these?

Welcome from Florida, there is plenty of info on the bike your looking for on this sight. The EG had an 88 with a 5 speed prior to 07 when it went to 96 with a 6 speed, in 08 the 6 gal tank and TBW was introduced, I forgot what year pre 07 it went to EFI, also in the 88 you want to keep an eye on the cam chain tensioner, 09 is when they changed the frame. You should not have too much of a problem finding what you are looking for the amount you are willing to spend, but shop around, don't jump at the first thing you see.
