I'm a newbie to this site. When I google various questions about my bike I am often directed to this site, and finally decided I need to join in order to ask my specific questions, and to share my experience as well. I've been riding Harleys for a decade. I've owned three. All twin-cams. All were purchased new. I traded my first bike, a 1999 Road King Classic for a 2001 Ultra Classic Electra Glide, mainly because back then you could get near to 100% of the purchase price on the trade. Two years ago I traded the Ultra Glide in for a leftover 2009 Crossbones. I've loved each bike, I've done a lot of riding on them all, I've had issues with them all, I'm having an issue now, which I won't go into right here. I'm committed to Harley Davidson for the long haul, as long as they hold up their end of the bargain. I have questions about their business practices. I read the rules and I'm not supposed to dis any sponsors of the site. I don't intend to dis Harley, but as I said I have a few questions.
I drove the road king 15,000 miles, the ultra-classic 85,000, and the crossbones 20,000 (so far).
Maybe my posts should be more brief. I'll see if my post gets a response and if so write a bit more about each bike -- plusses and minuses...
