Hello, I recently had my 5000 mi. service completed on my 03 Road King and went with Amsoil this time. Prior to this I was running Harley syntec.
About 50 miles after switching over my check engine light began to come on at about 60/65 MPH, and would go off when slowed down to around 30 mph.
This has been going on for about 3 weeks. Never comes on while just driving around town!
I've had the local shop check it out (non-factory H-D) who said the bike is fine, that they could not find a problem! Good guys no cost!
No extra noice, not running hot!!
Harley dealer says they have not heard of this problem and to bring it in for a computer check
and to bring allot of $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$. (I added the end part).

[sm=welcomesign.gif] For starters why don't you check the codes yourself and see what they are. If you don't know how, you can check the electrical section of the DIY section on this forum and see how to do it and what the codes mean. I would cut and paste or provide a link, but I'm lazy tonight
