So the wife finally let me trade up to a Harley! I traded in my 2006 Yamaha FZ6 on a 2002 Road King. I am very happy about my purchase and really excited about finally having my dream bike. Only problem is that I am so used to the little toy bike that the Harley is going to take some getting use to. I always used premium gas in the FZ6 but since the Harley didn't come with a manual (and I forgot to ask) should I continue using preimium gas, or do the "American" Harley motors run better with regular? Thanks.
Harley specs. say to run Premium only. I don't know about AZ but in CA the only thing you can find is with ethanol so that option is not open to me. And, welcome to the forum and to the H-D family of owners from San Diego, CA
Thanks for all the input. I will continue to use 93 then.
Joe, I like your design and I am also a Sarg. Probably not the same as you, though. I am a Technical Sergeant in the Air Force. My favorite verse from John chapter 3 is verse 17. It's nice to meet you and everybody else on here.
I am so excited about finally being a Harley owner. Think I might go to the Harley dealer tomorrow and get a decal for my truck!!
