hi everybody, after alot of lurking and searching the forum i finally broke down and got my first harley. i got myself an 07 pacific blue denim street bob. a little back ground about myself, i have raced motocross pretty much my whole life and after a bad crash last year where i shattered both ankles and split all the ligiments in both ankles lengthwise, broke and dislocated my right hip and broke the right side of my pelvis i decided it was time to slow down on the mx track. i ended up getting a 1980 kawasaki kz 750 for 200 dollars in a basket and rebuilt it. then this past spring i decided it was time for an up grade so i bought an 07 gsxr 600. after a summer of riding it i realized that my racing background didnt lead to safe riding on a sport bike, so i got hooked up by a shop that has always helped me out with mx and traded in for the street bob. i just wanted to say thanks to everyone in the forum for the knowledge i learned to figure out what harley was best for me, and because of it i couldnt be happier with my decision!
