Welcome to the HDForum......It's all about balance and feedback is always good if you are getting carried away with chrome but individuality is still the name of the game and it is after all your wallet.

IMHO contrast is key. That way the bike pops instead of blinding you. My own personal debate now is whether chrome bars would look stupid with black lowers and trees.

I like the blacked out look. When I decided to get my bike I went to several dealers sat on around 50 bikes and the one that fit me was all chromed out. The guy that owned it before me spent lots of HDs but that bike picked me it was like the fourth bike I sat on and the only one that fit like a glove.
