X2 on demo days. I love my ride but after riding other models i wish i would have waited for demo rides. good luck. every other mode of transportaion will suck after getting your harley.

Welcome to the forum from Indiana!! Like you said do research, go to dealers, sit on every bike they have, ask questions, sit on more bikes, ask more questions. Ask yourself, are you going to take short rides(bar hop), are you going to take long trips(touring)?

When you get your bike, look me up. I'm a new harley owner but not a new rider, know the best roads in and around Ottawa. Just do it...you will never look back! Mine, a 2008 FLHX Streetglide (black...is there any other color), was delivered December 20th.

I have vacationed in Ottawa in the past, in December, of all months. You have a great War Museum, the outdoor Byward Market is amazing and Scotty Bowman showed up at a 67's game. Haven't skated the Rideau Canal yet, though. Welcome aboard.
