First Post, first bike, first questions. :D
with regards to riding
just take your time mate , the information you need is there , the road surface , the weather conditions , the traffic and the pedestrians road signs etc etc so take it all in
something will eventually happen , so be ready for it , and like already said , plan your out .
ride in a relaxed smooth manner , its not a crouch rocket , its a cruiser , so cruise .
don't try and run before you can walk , take time to get used to the bikes limitations and your own .
it doesn't take long , so be patient
Kevlar jeans , a good leather jacket and boots are always a good idea as well...then just have fun .......

Overall, I will not be sprinting out into traffic anytime soon.
I am living quite rural now and will be spending a good amount of time in "lots" and on "quiet" streets just trying to get acquainted. Actually, most of my early excursions are going to be focused on just getting intimate with the controls and slow maneuvers. (Like an extended MSF course
)Again, thanks for the welcomes, much appreciated.
Oh, this made me nearly wet myself!
