I'm new to the forum and have a New to me 2006 Electra Glide Classic. I've ridden and raced a lot of things over the last 40+ years of riding. But this is my first Harley Davidson. Like a lot of people, I had the impression that Harley's were under powered and didn't handle. But I have to say that this is one of, if not the absolute best motorcycle I've ever had the privilege to just go out and ride. It's more nimble than I ever imagined, has more than enough torque to make up for the lack of top end HP and it's just plain fun. I can't remember the last time I've had such a grin on my face.
Thanks to everyone on here too. I was reading a lot before I signed up, and many of the posts helped me to decide on getting this bike.
Mike, welcome from York Pa. Yeah the big bikes are pretty fun to run through the twisties. You wont outrun many bikes but you sure can have a lot of fun. Congrats on the new ride.
