how do i create a thread , all the area's i look in there is no place to create a thread, I would like to post.

Go back to the main menu, where you see, New Members, General Harley Davidson Chat, Road Trips, etc. Scroll down & click on a category. Should be a place right above it, to click on New Thread, just like you did for this one.
