Just joined the HD Forums even though I've been lurking for over a year. I really enjoy viewing other people's rides and the ideas they have to make their bikes unique. The members here on this forum gave me the inspiration to do my first Harley mod this past winter. I'll be posting pics soon.
I've been a rider for over 30 years, still have my original 1985 Yamaha FJ600 purchased in 1985. Although I still ride it, I much prefer the bigger feel of my 2006 XL1200 Low Sportster. There really is no comparison between the quality of the Harley vs. the jap bikes. I had no idea until I was finally able to purchase the Sportster last August.
Hopefully, in the near future I can add to my collection of bikes. I'm looking forward to moving up to bit larger Harley. In the meantime, I'll continue to tweek the Sportster.
Thanks to all the members for their willingness to share their ideas and the inspiration they provide to all of us.
