i live in berlin germany. i´ve registered here 2006 right after i bought my first harley. a panhead FL54. since then i´ve read a lot of posts but never posted myself.
after 5 years of struggling with the panhead never reaching an end and when looking back and realizing i´ve made 220 miles with it i was completely done and decided to buy another ride. i found a lovely road king FLHRI 2004 last year in february. used but in good condition. since then i made 12.000 miles on the road. unfortunately i had quite a long break due to a chain tensioner damage this summer. anyways i´m really happy with the road king. it´s an awesome bike. i love it. i love the looks, i love the sound of the vance and hines, white wall tires, deep blue color and all of it.
to ride on this bike is a cure. it is a bliss. and it became essential for me.
the panhead is still a procjet. but i was lucky and found some rare brand new STD heads on the web last year and probably will be able to finish it finally.
