My name is Mike, I bought a 2012 Harley Davidson XL883L Superlow Sportster back in February. I love riding it and with the exception of the time it spent in the shop getting fixed from going down on wet, sandy pavement after a cager cut me off, I've averaged about 1000+ miles per month. A large portion of that is day-to-day commuting and meeting up with friends on bike night.
I really hope to make some additions to it to make it more suitable for both 2-up riding and more long distance rides (no passenger seat/pegs nor any luggage atm). I'm happy with the engine size, power, and economy and don't really feel the need/urge for the bigger bikes. Will that stay the same over the next 5+ years? Who knows, but I plan on riding the hell out of this bike.
If any of you are in the Orlando area, drop me a line and maybe we can meet up for some adventures.
