I just got my new 09 Ultra Classic with only 900 miles on it (garage queen!), and man, do I love this bike! It is my first HD. But I am keeping my other bike, a Yamaha V-Star 1100 Silverado, because I love it, too! I have modded it with max chrome, slip-ons, two sets of lizard lights, accessories... But I kept reaching for another gear when on the highway. I bought the Ultra for that six speed and a few more ponies. Had some concerns about settling for the 96 instead of paying up for the 103, but that concern evaporated on the way home. I bought the Ultra and immediately hopped on it and rode 850 miles home. It's an absolute dream on the road-- everything I wanted and more than I ever hoped for. So now I have a wife named Harley and girlfriend named Silverado... Wife costs more, requires more attention and is a bigger girl, while girlfriend is prettier (for now) and lighter, but not ideal for the long haul.

So I have already got a mod plan for the blue dragon and welcome any feedback....
First purchase: Service manual and siren for alarm.
Second purchase: Tour pak quick disconnect kit, with ultra classic harness, shorty antennas, spare keys and fob. I'll install in a couple of weeks. Turn her into an ultra classic street glide...
Planned next:
1. Will pick up PTT passenger harness to install w/QD kit.
2. Power Vision tuner with auotuner AT-100, wide band O2s
Want to document baseline stock B4 starting modding.
3. Vance & Hines twin slash ovals + SE high flow intake
Was going for power duals headers, but found that 09 UC has no cat,
May not need to replace headers--- comments?
Later, start the chrome, pass. backrest, luggage rack, upper/lower lizard lights, Infinity Streamliner timing cover and oval AC, and on and on...
