Hi all... I'm an old biker new to the forum and fairly new to HD. Some of my most recent rides are a Honda Valkyrie 1500, Yamaha RoadStar 1600, Buell Firebolt XB9R, and finally to my 2009 Silver Denim Iron 883. I'm mostly a commuter... love the heavy cruisers, but have been itching to try something on the lighter side. The Buell was great for that, but that bike is killer on the wrists. So, I recently just picked up an 09 Iron for 5800 with 6k miles on it and installed the Silencer collection on it, grips, pegs, an all. Love the look. Weird not having forward controls on a classic style bike, looks-wise... but haven't decided if I like or dislike the mids yet from a comfort standpoint... jury is still out. Oh, I'm a bike painter in my spare time too. Cheers all.
