Excessive Heat
First off I want to thank everyone for your help. You people have been great through the years. I have a 02 FLSTSI that had a problem awhile back. The local HD dealer said it was my ECM and replaced it. The bike has a hyper charger and did have true dual drag pipes on it with restriction cones. I had no problem with heating until I got it back. Since then I have purchased a super tuner and taken it to two different shops to get it straight but no luck. My pipes literally cooked the headers and blued the pipes two feet. I just changed the pipes to Vance Hines true duals yesterday, went around the block and the rear header is cooked already! The last mechanic tweeked the fuel and all that did was caused a stall at low speed acceleration. Thanks all!
