Panhead rear brake ?

Hey everyone, new to this social stuff. The Ol Lady just got me a 1960 Flh, Bless her heart.We bought it not running, but had been restored( as they say) 12 years ago.. Changed the fluids, cleaned air filter, put in new plugs and started kicking. The starting procedure un the manual worked, and it fired up once I realized the gen was in the wrong position ! I'm working on rear brake now, as I went to bleed it, the bleeder valve fell out. My Question is, does the Valve thread into the backing plate or does it thread into the wheel cylinder housing. I would like to order parts before hand, if possible, so I have them when I take wheel off.I'm waiting on a jack delivery so I can get this done. My second question is are all the backing plates chrome, that is all I've been able to locate on the web so far.. Thanks, Bob
