Hello all new to the boards. If you hate to read then I'll just happy to be here, and look forward to being an active member here. If you don't mind reading proper intro below.
I am currently in the U.S. Army and stationed in Germany. I currently do not own a Harley, but plan to purchase one ASAP once I get back to the states later this year. I have had my eye on the Street Bob for some time now. I have been riding since 2001, and have ridden many bikes. My first bike was a YZF600. I then got my hands on a '72 Sporty, and that's where I first started getting into customizing bikes. I did some work on the sporty, and it was a pretty sweet little bobber. I sold it after a few years due to hard times. After the sporty I picked up an '02 Katana 600. I rode this bike for about 3 years, and did very little to it. It was a solid bike, but got bored with it pretty fast, and I missed the cruise. I sold the Kat when I got divorced, and picked up a '76 CB550 basket for stupid cheap. After a good bit of work I had yet another pretty sweet little bobber. Def not a Harley, but was a fun bike regardless. I sold the CB when I joined the Army. Once I got to Bavaria I saw the rodes here and within the first year purchased a bike just to ride while here. I really wanted a Harley, but the new wife wasn't really into bikes at the time. So I am currently riding a Kawasaki ZR7S. Just another standard sport/tourer. To be honest I hate the damn thing. Only bike I have ever ridden that caused my **** to fall asleep. Ergonomics are just terrible. I almost had the wife convinced a few months ago to order a new Street bob, but once we found out it won't even be here until July it wasn't even worth the trouble.
At any rate I am a gear head through and through. Just about every motor vehicle I have ever owned I have tricked out. I love hot rods, muscle cars, and bikes especially bobbers. I think I have a pretty unique taste in what I do.
