I have been riding since I was 6 years old. I am 48 years old now & have never been without a motorcycle. Until now I have never owned a Harley. I finally spent the bucks & got me a 2008 Ultra Classic. I've had it a month now & have already put 2200 miles on her. LOVE It !!!
I had a flat rear at 70 on the freeway 2 up the 2nd day I got it. My wife said "Are you doing that weaving on purpose?" LOL. The tire was 2 days old. Had a nail in it. It handled pretty good with the flat & all is well except my wallet.
On the bright side, I think that was the easiest rear bagger tire I've ever changed.
My buddy has a 09 Ultra & he hit the ditch last year & had to have the front fender replaced. Last week it came loose & locked the front tire. He had just got off the highway & was only going @ 10 mph so he managed to keep it upright. LUCKY!!! We looked around & found a couple bolts & one of the locking metal tabs. NONE of the locking tabs had been bent over. The dealer that done the work is no longer in business so he can't even go cuss anybody out. Oh by the way, new 2 color fender $830.00. Not crashing on highway... Priceless. LOL
