Hi Everyone,
I just joined this forum after being going though it for a month.
I am from Karachi, Pakistan. This city and Pakistan is well known for having a lot of motorcycles. We have a large number of Sports/Super bikes here.
However, the qty of Harleys is slowly increasing.
We dont have any dealership here, so we have to import and that costs a limb.
So if you are really a Harley lover (and can afford) you would certainly go for it.
I just bought a Fatboy 2009 Peaceofficer from USA. Expect to have it put on container and shipped here by this weekend.
Would take approx 45 days till i receive the shipment.
When making the purchase, I was confused between a Vrod (for the contemporary looks & HP) and the Fatboy.....
On reading your forum and the encouraging views that i read about a fatboy, I felt inclined towards it.
When I rode a friend's 2006 Ultra Electra Glide (as fatboy n ultra are both softails), that ride kinda sealed the deal.....
Looking forward to some fun riding.....
Thank you Guys.......feels good to be welcomed....
The bike I bought has the following modifications to it, as I was informed:
It has 5660 miles on it.
It has HD upgraded chrome rims,
HD factory alarm,
Beach cruiser bars,
Screaming Eagle Tuner Kit,
Vance n Hines Exhaust,
Performance Machine Extended Forward Controls with matching rear pegs,
Roland sands air cleaner,
Bike lowered by 1" front and back,
Custom rear blinker/brake light assembly,
Custom front blinkers,
HD sissy bar with luggage rack and easy release kit......
As being a newbie, how does this all sound to you guys?
I have right no idea as to what kind of machine I am getting as the only Harley I rode was a stock Ultra Electra Glide 2005......
