New Street Glide!
Just saying hello from California! I've been lurking on this forum for a couple of months. So much great information!!I picked up my new vivid blackstreet glide a couple of weeks ago. We've been having some pretty nice weather lately in California so I've been trying to get my break in miles done. This past weekend my boyfriend and I rode about 300 miles on Saturday...from Los Altos to Sonora. What a gorgeous day. We saw lot's of other bikers out enjoying the sunshine.....maybe even some of you!Hoping to get some riding in this weekend too! I'll try and attach a couple of pics of our bikes .
I've been riding for a couple of years and am having the time of my life. What an awesome bike!! I had been riding a sportster previously which was a great bike, but the difference between a touring bike and a sportster is pretty amazing. I think the SG handles much easier for me in the twisties...seems to just fall right into the turns.The ride is amazingly smooth.I'll admit...it's a little tougher in the slow manuevering, as the weight difference is a couple hundred pounds, but getting easier every time I have her out. Having the tunes is fantastic...makes the freeway miles fly by.

Welcome from Salem, Oregon - The Street Glide is a nice step up from the Sportster, I am sure that you'll enjoy the smooth ride and the ability to have some tunes to enjoy while riding.
