2 weeks ago I purchased my first HD. A 2007 Road Glide. I bought it from a BMW dealership who had taken it in on trade and they knew very little about the bike (not a great start, I know). But w/ 21k miles and a few accessories I knew I couldn't live without it was a great deal for me.
I already put new Kuryakyn Widow grips on it. Also purchased are the 3" taller HD windshield and the shorty. I'm tall (6'4 w/ a long torso) so the stock windshield is pretty useless. Although on my first ride I wasn't impressed w/ the taller windshield. I may need to find a taller option.
Tentatively planning a trip up the PCH sometime this month as well. Anyone done it this time of year?
