Joined the forum today. I do not currently own a HD but will be getting a new Low Rider next spring. Been riding for 35 years.
Started riding when I was 13 (in 1979). First bike was a Kawasaki KE 100 that I rode on road and off road for two years. Next bike was a Maico 250 MX bike that I rode for a year. Got my first street bike in 1982 when I turned 16 (1982 Suzuki GS 300). Rode it for two years until I picked up a new old stock Yamaha Maxim 750 in 1985.
Since then I have owned the following bikes (all purchased new):
1991 Honda CBR 600 F2 (1991-93)
1993 Honda CBR 900 RR (1994-95)
1997 Honda CBR 1100 XX (1998-2002)
2003 Kawasaki ZZR 1200 (2006-2011)
Current bike is a 2011 Suzuki GSXR 600 that I purchased new old stock in 2012. Have about 9000 miles on it.
I am interested in getting something different. Went to a HD Demo Ride event on Sat and rode a Forty Eight, a 1200T, and a Low Rider. Really liked the Low Rider. Was very impressed.
A Low Rider will be my next bike.
