Hi All,

I'm Ade, haven't owned a bike for 20 years so went and bought a 1999 1200 Sportster, I love it, no idea why I just wasted 20 years of my life LOL

Anyway not without problems of course, clutch basket bearing was grinding and clutch slipping so went to replace and found the whole gearbox was corrosion damaged by water in the oil... every bearing, gear and shaft is wrecked, I'm guessing someone must have powerwashed the bike for sale and got water in the gearbox/primary? Rebuild underway, just hope the parts come before the summer is gone!
