Default mileage??

What's an average mileage for a16 Pirelli on rear of 86 wide glide, ride hard but can't afford to smoke the tire, passenger half the time, proper inflation maintained .
MT66 route 130/90-16"
7600 on it and balding.

If you want mileage go with a Dunlop American Elite, MT multi tread, harder in the center for mileage & softer on the sides for handling.

Thanks, I may have an alignment issue that's why I'm asking. A new tire every ten thousand doesn't sound right.

You're not alone! The stock Dunlop 180/70-16 rear tire on my FB was barely 8K old and already down to the wear bars, and I ride easy and solo all the time. Hoping for better with the Metz I have on there now.

Sounds fine to me, if you ride as you describe. Tyres are designed to be used, not saved........

Default Dunlop American Elite

I have had great luck with the Dunlop American Elite, I have over 20k on the set I have on right now. With Harley Dunlop I was getting between 8k and 12k. I don't ride hard and keep tabs on the pressure. I am do for a new set and will go back to the American Elites. About 70% of my riding is 1 up.
