super glide front wheel
I'm looking for a front wheel for my 96 super glide .my hub is 4 7/8 wide .I got a wheel with the bike but the hub on it is 5 1/2 wide I'm not sure what it fits but doesn't fit mine

Your should be looking for a 99-earlier (earlier to a point) Dyna, Sportster, FXR which is equipped with Tapered Roller Bearings (something from a Narrowglide front end) for a direct fit to your 96 FXD

Did you install those bearings and Brand New Tire?
That looks to be a 2006-07 Dyna front wheel
Here's the "Show your Work" part:
- 2000/later because of Sealed Bearings (and OD of a sealed bearing)
- "Midglide" Hub (your measurements plus visual references)
- 3/4"ID x 21mm replacement bearings (KML brand - not OEM. 1" IDx 21mm of different brand (INA?) would have been STD )
- 21mm wide bearing, but Not Protruding from Hub. So hub was made for 21mm wide bearing, not the thinner 15mm wide bearing with 25mm ID (08-Later)
Did I miss anything
